Letters skip the goods invoice

A letter, a certificate, or a set of papers is not a parcel. Document shipping skips the goods-invoice lines because there are no goods to declare.

Use it only for papers

If the envelope holds a sample, a gift, or anything with a commercial value, book it as a parcel. Calling goods a document is how shipments get held.

What the shorter form still needs

We still need both names, both phones, and a full delivery address. The tracking timeline is the same one used for parcels: booked, picked up, in transit, delivered.

  • No item lines for a true document shipment.
  • Keep a copy of what you sent.
  • Ask for Express only when the date matters more than the fare.
